Reading some notes available in the web, the MG2900 series does not use the standard TCP/IP Port, it is use the Canon proprietary port called CNBJ, not sure if this will help, after uninstalling try to remove the Canon port manually (open Devices and Printers, select any printer icon, a the top click Print Server Properties, go to Ports tab and it will have a list of ports.
